RARE Sherm's Hindu Water Vase. 1958 Sherms Hindu Lota Bowl. A Two-Toner.An effect that got Sherms in trouble. The piece was apparently copied and exactly resembled the Petrie & Lewis copper Lota. After being reprimanded by P&L, Sherms then created a two-tone model; copper top and brass base. 1958 Sherms Hindu Lota Bowl A Two-Toner....An effect that got Sherms in trouble. The piece was apparently copied and exactly resembled the Petrie & Lewis copper Lota. After being reprimanded by P&L, Sherms then created a two-tone model; copper top and brass base. Both the Sherms and P&L Lotas were manufactured at the same machine shop in Shelton Connecticut. The two magic company's were located approximately 22 miles from each other. A few other Sherms effects resembled those created by the P&L Magic Company. The bowl measures 7 inches tall by 7-1/2 inches in diameter.
