Description

Amazing Spider-Man #359 CGC 9.8 1st Cameo Appearance of Carnage. What more could you ask for, other than Mark "the Man" Bagley drawing the heck out of the whole shebang. He learns that a cure existed but was not distributed due to lack of profitability. This is my personal era of Spider-Man comics. I was primed for a vigilante like Cardiac, an anti-hero with a flawed conscience, trying to do what's right on the wrong side of the law. Elias Wirtham, a physician and surgeon, owns a biological research firm motivated by his brother Joshua's death from a rare condition. He learns that a cure existed but was not distributed due to lack of profitability. Determined to combat corporate greed, Elias replaces his heart with a beta-particle reactor, enhancing his physical abilities and adopting the name "Cardiac" as a nod to his power source. Plus we also get an early cameo appearance of the red symbiote that becomes Carnage?! What more could you ask for, other than Mark "the Man" Bagley drawing the heck out of the whole shebang. I'm half tempted to keep this one for myself . . . Good luck bidding!
