H6, dating to circa 1918. This is a classic early 20th-century Swiss pocket watch, retailed/marked by Stauffer, featuring a high-quality 19-jewel manual wind movement. A solid and reliable timepiece from one of Switzerland’s most prestigious watch manufacturers. Key Features: Movement: IWC Calibre 52, 19 jewels, lever escapement. Clearly marked “712874 H6”, and with Stauffer/S&Co markings. The movement is complete and appears clean. Dial: Beautiful cream/white enamel dial with bold black Roman numerals, blued steel hands, and a small seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock. Case: Solid Sterling Silver 925 hunter-style case (open face). Hallmarked with 925, lion passant, and other Swiss/British import marks. Case number 774186 is clearly visible. Smooth polished finish with minor signs of age. Size: Diameter 51.09 mm — excellent size for a gentleman’s pocket watch. Condition: The watch is in good vintage condition for its 107+ years. The dial is attractive with light aging.
