ANTIQUE ILLINOIS 19J GLASS BACK SHOW CASE POCKET WATCH - GRO W/ WATCH CHAIN. For auction is another unusual salesman sample glass show case antique 16s Illinois pocket watch. The marked outer cases have markings of Illinois Watch Co. Both outer cases are threaded. Great porcelain dial. Seconds bit. 12 hour and 60 minute. Serial # 1467436. Model 9. Model 1918. 19 jewels. Brequet hairspring. Rear glass show case. Sawtooth looking watch edge. Nice hands. Watch is in good running order. The back outer case is glass for viewing the good running movement - thus this particular watch was probably used as a salesman sample. Does come with a marked (gold filled) pocket watch chain.
