The fabric is a lightweight cotton with a beautiful chintz-style botanical pattern printed in reds, greens, soft gold, and faded pinks on a pale cream ground. The flowers have such elegant vintage charm and the palette is warm and rich with age. This panel is lined in soft cotton and pleated at the top, with the original hooks still attached! The pattern has wonderful Jacobean elements ~~ The artistry of this textile is just beautiful—it’s full of character and charm and would be lovely hung just as it is, or repurposed into pillows, light upholstery, or other creative projects. Not only do I feel so lucky to share this beautiful French curtain for use in our homes today, but this also supports eco-friendly practices by giving old materials a new life through upcycling and creative reuse. MEASUREMENTS: This panel measures approx. 103 inches long, 53 inches wide at the bottom, and 36 inches wide at the top. CONDITION: I laundered these lovely curtains when I was in France. I used a detergent that was scented ( I couldn't find unscented! ) and I can smell the laundry soap!~ They have been in storage for a few months so if you don't like the smell of the detergent they can air or wash again! ~The lining shows some yellowing and age marks, and the face of the textile has a soft aged tone overall.
