This is a beautiful roll of antique French wallpaper dating to the 1920s, it was hand block printed. It has a soft sheen, gold ground with embossed pattern in a lovely chalky white. I was so fortunate to have found many wonderful wallpapers this trip! This is a beautiful roll of antique French wallpaper dating to the 1920s, it was hand block printed. It has a soft sheen, gold ground with embossed pattern in a lovely chalky white. The surface is slightly textured with a subtle shimmer, catching the light beautifully. So it changes tones depending on how the light has hit it!~ I was fortunate to have found a number of rolls of this matching wallpaper.
