The pattern is bold, geometric, and figural—almost folkloric, with repeated stylized animals, floral motifs, and striking symmetry. It’s wonderfully decorative and full of character! This large, heavy-weight piece is woven in thick cotton and possibly wool, giving it great weight and presence. The edges are beautifully finished with hand-sewn multicolour pompom trim along the sides, adding that special touch only antique pieces carry.
