Description
Vintage Stanley Bailey No. 3 smoothing plane dating to the Type 14/15 era (late 1920s–early 1930s). Features classic Bailey pattern construction with adjustable frog, Stanley marked lever cap and iron, and horizontal “STANLEY” lateral adjuster. Equipped with wood front knob and tote secured by brass hardware. Compact No. 3 size ideal for fine smoothing and detail work. A solid pre-war Stanley example with desirable early features. Condition: Shows light wear from use including minor surface marks and oxidation. Japanning is in good condition. Wood knob and tote show typical age wear. Appears complete and mechanically functional. See photos for complete details.
