Antique pair of Owasco Tool Company wooden hollow molding planes, New York. Includes two sizes marked No. 2 (approx 1/4” cutter) and No. 8 (approx 5/8” cutter). Both feature convex irons designed to cut concave profiles (coves) in woodworking. Part of a traditional hollow & round molding plane system used for shaping decorative edges and trim. Classic wood bodies with original irons and wedge construction. Matching maker pair. Condition: Surface wear, scratches, and age toning to wood bodies. Cutters show oxidation and use wear. Both planes appear complete with irons and wedges. See photos for complete details.
Seller combined shipping on this and another order. I made an offer on a bundle and my offer was accepted. Great value on two pieces for restoration. I'm sure they're described accurately and packing will be adequate.
