Description
Tow Spools of One Pound Each 60/40 solder is a 60% tin, 40% lead alloy. The greater content of tin decreases the melting and setting point of the solder, making it the choice for general copper foil work. 60/40 solder has a shiner surface when set. Thickness: 0.062" Leaded solders have a lower melting point with better wettability than lead-free solders. They are used in the repair of electric appliances, computers, printed circuit boards, and phone and cable applications. Leaded solders should be used only in areas with proper ventilation systems.
