Description
This is a high-quality Antique Silver Plated Comport (also known as a Tazza or Footed Salver) crafted by the renowned British firm William Hutton & Sons (WH&S). Dating from the Victorian/Edwardian period (c. 1890–1920), it bears the distinguished 'CROSS ARROWS' trade mark and the desirable quality stamp 'EP A1', denoting the thickest electro-plating. The design is elegant, featuring a detailed pierced gallery rim and a centrally etched surface. Measuring 21 cm in diameter and 15 cm high, this piece is in excellent antique condition with minimal wear, presenting beautifully as a decorative centerpiece for fruit, sweets, or cakes.
