Description
If you are familiar with this Italian brand - you already know how special this box is. It is a large size measuring 14 inches long and 9 inches wide and 6 inches deep. The empty box weighs nearly 7 pounds. It has a minimalist look compared to others that makes it a standout. The box sits on 1 inch legs with felt corner protectors. Simple, yet extraordinary. I have not seen another exactly like it. I bought this at a live auction over 10 years ago and it remains in near new condition. The previous owner purchased it on a trip to Italy. The downside to the purchase, unbeknownst to me, was that the inner tray was being used in a different room of the house to display/sell jewelry. I bought it without the tray and used this locking box for special items that were already in small boxes. Therefore, there is no wear to the lining - it is perfect. The photos are my best description and clearly show the lovely wood grain. The key and lock work perfectly and the keychain from which the key hangs is a lovely amethyst jeweled turtle.
I've had this style of Coffee Carafe for over 20 years and they don't make it anymore, so this seller had one advertised as NEW and sure enough, it arrived today! Thrilled, it has all of the tags inside and was in the original box! So pleased, thank you so much! PS. And also received it sooner than the tracking date that was originally shown :)
