It is the powerful and incendiary story of a grieving father, Frank McGrath (David Morse) who is enraged by his daughter's suicide following an unauthorized expose on a television talk show. In retaliation for his daughter's death, McGrath takes the ego-driven star/hostess, Pia Postman (Marg Helgenberger), and her entire show's crew and audience hostage, with a gun in his hand and a hidden bomb planted in the studio.
