7 Antique 1870s Anderson County South Carolina Tax Payment Receipts. All are in good condition for their ages. Offered is this lot of seven antique tax documents from Anderson County South Carolina, receipts for paying property taxes. The documents are all from the 1870s, with the earliest dated April, 1870, for taxes due for the previous year. All were paid by either Ed Davis or Mrs. M. A. Davis and all were signed by the county treasurer at the time. The backs of two of the documents are blank, one has some hand-written calculations and the others have a pre-printed notice. The documents are of several different sizes. All are in good condition for their ages. There are no major tears, but there are some short edge tears, creases, folded corners, some wrinkling and light soiling. Please take a moment to look at some of the other items in my eBay store!
