This book examines the views of national parties towards the European Union and the different facets of a supranational citizenship. It provides an in-depth investigation into the variations to the cross-national patterns in ten countries, including old and new member states and different EU regions. Using original and innovative concepts, data and research techniques the authors: Explore whether parties formulate specific positions and preferences on the most particular aspects of the EU process. Investigate whether the partys stance could be inserted into more pro-European, or more Eurosceptical attitudes. Illustrate patterns of party contestation of the EU issues in the member states and explains these patterns in the light of the main theoretical arguments. Making an important contribution to party attitudes towards the EU and the Europeanisation of party politics, this book will be of interest to students and scholars of European politics, sociology, comparative politics, government and party politics
Ordered on 10th, delivered on 18th. In described condition and excellent price. Delivered by Amazon - the tracking number link didn't work so couldn't track its progress. Package was also left outside on the pavement in the dark despite lights being on at the front door. Would have been a big problem if it was raining as the packaging is cardboard although the book itself was in polythene. When I queried the problem with the tracking number buyer did respond quickly so good comms.
This new book I ordered was poorly packaged & arrived in a cardboard wrap which was wide open & the pages had bent & damaged corners. I contacted the seller who sent a return label & arranged for a new replacement to be sent out. The new book arrived in great condition a few days later. Very happy with their communication & the way they resolved my issue quickly. I wouldn't hesitate to shop with them again. Thank you for the great customer service.
EXCELLENT SELLER - new item, as described, at a competitive price. The book was print-on-demand and it was made clear at the time of ordering that delivery may take up to two weeks. Happily, my order was delivered in under a week with full tracking information provided and a text message sent when it was ready to collect from my nominated collection point (my local Argos). A very smooth, pleasant transaction and I highly recommend the seller.
