This item is a replacement Drive Motor Worm Gear for a Lazy Boy lift chair, style 1L-597 (IL-597). The worm gear is mounted on the drive shaft of the Drive Motor, stamped Maxwell No. 7190-1597 Type 9081. This gear is no longer available from the original motor manufacturer or Lazy Boy. The gear was manufactured at a local machine shop to the original gears dimensions. It is an exact fit and performs the same as the original gear. This is the second build of gears. The first build of 30 gears had no issues. Total cost is $50, plus $5.00 packaging and handling, plus postage (~$6.00).
