The cup is signed with the artist signature mark. The writing on the box says 牙晶瓷ぐい呑 (Gashōji guinomi). Masayuki Uraguchi (浦口雅行, b. 1964) is a contemporary Japanese ceramic artist known for highly refined porcelain and celadon work, especially pieces that merge traditional Chinese/Japanese aesthetics with modern firing and surface effects.
