Masayuki Uraguchi Gashoji porcelain sake cup: Exhibition work from 2009. White-yellow porcelain, hand carved with yellow-red crackling effect (Kannyu). No visible signs of use. The cup is signed with the artist signature mark. The writing on the box says 牙晶瓷ぐい呑 (Gashōji guinomi). Masayuki Uraguchi (浦口雅行, b. 1964) is a contemporary Japanese ceramic artist known for highly refined porcelain and celadon work, especially pieces that merge traditional Chinese/Japanese aesthetics with modern firing and surface effects.
