Directions STEP 1 - Dim or turn off most of the lights in area to be inspected, the less light the better. STEP 2 - Test UV Cards and Wear UV safety glasses avoid uv radiation. STEP 3 - Turn on the black light and shine it over the carpet, urine stains will glow under the light. STEP 4 - Mark carpet stains that glow under the black light by placing a tissue or sticky note on the area so you can find the stain when the lights are turned on. NOTES : If the urine is fresh / wet the salts might not fluoresce, If this is the case let the urine dry and try the light on it again.
