Vintage and rare. Despite my research, I was unable to find another just like it. The frame’s unique bronze artwork, which bears the maker's name at the bottom, is in very good vintage condition with only minor signs of previous use. A light patina rests inside the curves of the intricate asian design. The back of the frame appears to be made of black glass with a reflective quality. It shows some shallow scratching as expected with age. Bronze easel leg on the backside is marked “Japan” and is free standing. Base plate on the backside shows some wear (see final photo). Screw off the back screw to insert photo. Although I believe its orientation is vertical due to where the Sharp logo is placed, the easel leg rotates, allowing for horizontal orientation, if desired.
