Over-sized , Horizontal Format Bond which has been folded....The Certificate measures 16 & 1/2" x 10 & 1/2 " ; if you include the attached coupons it measures 16 &1/2" by 22 & 1/2".......Certificate Number 1125....Dated April 1869 & Payable April 1899.....The Bond is issued in support of Western Rail Road Company....$1,000 Denomination.....Hand signed by W. W Holden the Governor of North Carolina in 1869.....There are 58 Coupons attached ( see image #2 for samples).....Certificate was printed by American Bank Note Company...Artistic gray border.....there are three separate vignettes which are well done (1303081914950)
