Be aware that size 2mm will not suit knitters who knit tightly. This size is very delicate! These bamboo circular needles have a hollow plastic cord and are suitable for a beginner, a child, a one-off project or to carry on a journey. Most needles are in their natural cream colour; others arrive carbonised (browned wood); the plastic cords also vary in colour and so you will receive whatever is current at the time of ordering. These needles are designed for knitting. I cannot guarantee them for any other use such as model making! They are inexpensive; an economy product, but smoothly made and finished. However, they are unlikely to last a lifetime because the materials are NOT steel and nylon thread! So please accept that these are NOT the same as high-quality engineered expensive circular needles. I send these needles next-day, by Large Envelope post - our post is before 1 p.m. Multiple orders (over 4 items) are sent by Tracked post. The length of the entire needle tip to tip is approximately 60 cm, so ideal for round-and-round knitting totalling a width of a bit more than half a metre or more, such as childrens guernseys and cardigans. The needles will also be useful for flat knitting of any size. Of course, you could use two or more of the same size in the Magic Loop technique and then you will have no lower or upper limit of stitches. The size is branded on the wooden 'handles'. I also sell similar needles but with shorter cords for knitting with fewer stitches - see listing for 40 cm, and longer cords for 80 cm and 100 cm circulars. Handle them gently as you would any thin wooden product. I suggest you do not kink the needles at the join of the bamboo and the plastic cord. Because these are only £2.35 each I am not guaranteeing them as a quality product, so will not accept returns if they break apart in use. These needles are stocked here in the UK and I send them out in 3 to 4 days or sooner. International postage is routed through Ebay's own postage system which is swifter and safer.
