Description

GBC Bates 2100 Photo ID Camera Comes with a manual and what you see in the pictures. If you don't see it, you probably wont get it. Specifications are from GBC Bates and may vary slightly due to upgrades, options, or revisions this unit may or may not have. The unit works to the best of our knowledge. The flash worked and the unit powered up but I didn't have any film. Power Requirements: 100-125V, 5A, 50/60Hz Camera Features: The "Aimlight Button" is located on the outside left of the camera back. Pressing this button activates the aim light flashing for fifteen (15) seconds. A picture can only be taken when the aimlight is flashing. Press again to reactive. This button is also an "escape" button while in program mode. The "Strobe Boost Button" is located on the inside left of the camera back. Pressing this button will boost the strobe intensity 1/3 of an f-stop for subjects with dark complexions. The camera returns to normal operation after one shot has been taken. This button is also a "cursor down" button while in program mode. The "Power Button" is located on the inside right of the camera back. Pressing this button powers up the camera after the auto shut-off has powered the camera down. This button is also a "program" button to enter the program mode. The "Shutter Button" is located on the outside right of the camera back. Pressing this button will take a picture only when the aim light has been activated. This button is also a "cursor down" button while in the program mode. The "Variable Aperture Lever" will adjust the aperture from f-10 to f-64. Adjust according to the recommended settings for film types and the lighting conditions. Variable Exposure allows the user to program the strobe brightness setting for exposures in all lighting conditions. The "Power Jack" is located on the lower left of the camera back. This is where the DC power supply is plugged in to power up the camera. The "L.C.D. Graphic Display" is located on the top side of the camera back. This display shows the operator step-by-step operation of the camera while in the operating mode and allows the operator to adjust the menu selections while in the programming mode. The "Key Switch" is located on the lower right side of the camera back. Turning the key to the right will power up the camera. The key can be removed to prevent unauthorized use. The "Load Film" feature alerts the operator when the camera is out of film. Sensors will detect when the film pack is empty and the camera will automatically read "Load Film". The camera will be inoperable until another film pack is inserted, eliminating picture taking without film. The "Low Battery Protection" feature will flash a low battery icon on the graphic display and give an audio beep if the batteries or voltage are to low. If ignored, as built in protection, the camera will power down when the voltage becomes too low. This will prevent damage to the camera microprocessor. The "Double Exposure Prevention" feature will not allow the camera to operate after all the shutters have been activated or if changing the select mode in the middle of a piece of film, until that piece of film has been pulled. The "Memory" feature allows the operator to take a partial piece of film and power the camera down or move the unit to another site. Upon powering up, the camera will remain in the same position to complete the partial piece of film. The "Built in Timers" are located in the upper left corner of the graphic display. These timers will be turned off as a default for the camera because the timer stand is used for the same purpose. If you are either using the battery or wish to use the built-in timers, simply turn on the timers in the program. If using the built-in timers, the number of the piece of film being pulled with flash. Upon reaching the preset development time, three (3) audio beeps alert the operator to peel the film and the flashing timer will remain solid. The camera can be turned back on by pressing the power button. Strobe count gives the count of all strobe flashes. The number is displayed in the Program Mode.
