Gorgeous, vintage Colombian emerald pendant surrounded by diamonds. Natural, sparkly clean diamonds are. 19 total carat weight, stamped. Fabulous, glowing green Colombian Emerald pendant, set in platinum, surrounded by a halo of natural diamonds. Emerald is 1.24 carats, stamped. Natural, sparkly clean diamonds are .19 total carat weight, stamped. These gems have already been authenticated by the GIA gemologist at Ebay. But the platinum tested lower than the stamp, so they sent it back. It tested at 500 pt. A local GIA gemologist explained to me that 500 is still genuine platinum, tough, resists tarnish, and won't change color over time. Slightly more susceptible to surface scratches than 900 pt, but that's less of an issue because it's a pendant as opposed to a ring. Suitable for everyday wear or special occasions. The quality of this Colombian emerald is AAA. An *amazing* deal for a beautiful piece. Measures 15mm bail to end. The emerald is roughly 5mm x 5mm.
