The clasp appears to be brass or other gold tone. This is a piece of costume jewelry. The gold tone is not real gold. Although the style is reminiscent of art deco, the Lucite beads indicate it is probably MCM but it has not been authenticated. Beads are translucent and have visible bubbles & marks inside.
