Nording “Tulip” freehand pipe, made for me and given to me back in the 1980s, when Erik stayed with my wife and I while visiting California. The bottom of the pipe is inscribed, “To my friend Rick Hacker - Erik.” It is a great smoking pipe (and one that always gets attention) but now that Erik has retired and has closed his factory, it is time to pass this excellent pipe on to another collector who I hope will appreciate it as much as I have.
