CNW ex-Rock Island 50' Rib Side Box Car Single Door Factory Weathered N Scale Gauge Micro-Trains Line MTL #027 44 296 Road # CNW 716494 This ex-Rock Island 50’ box car with Barber Roller Bearing trucks was built in the late 1970s by FMC. It later found its way onto the Chicago & North Western roster through mergers. The C&NW lettering was painted out, and re-lettered. Though…part of the reporting mark stenciling on one side got a little confusing for the painters.
