Tip Top Weekly No. 536, Frank Merriwell's Summer Camp, July 21, 1906. Issued weekly. In over-all fair condition, the covers are separated at the spine and the cover and pages edges are chipped. Offered here is a vintage classic Children's Nickel Magazine: "Tip Top Weekly No. 536", "Frank Merriwell's Summer Camp Or, The Athletic School In The Woods", July 21, 1906, approx. 10 7/8" X 8 3/8" , Published by Street & Smith, New York. Issued weekly. In over-all fair condition, the covers are separated at the spine and the cover and pages edges are chipped. The right edge is brittle and chipping quite extensively at the center [does not go into the text yet however], rather heavy internal oxidation, VERY THIN paper, dark stain at the bottom right corner as seen. Came from the original family - purchased from a gentlemen whose great grandfather owned these originally. MANY of these early one have issues with the left side corners. I really believed they were clipped back in the day - maybe remainder stock?? Strange that the same exact corners on each one seem clipped.
