VINTAGE Phi Kappa Tau fraternity crest bar pin / brooch, 2" across - OLD. Up for bid is a wonderful vintage bar pin which has the Phi Kappa Tau fraternity crest in raised metal across the middle. The original Phi Tau crest as well, with a lot more detail inside than you see today. Looks to have a ton of age to it, and it's in great shape with no damage or wear, and no smoothing to the coat of arms. Silver in color, but has no hallmarks seen telling me it's sterling. I do see a faded maker's mark on the clasp that reads something like "IEC" but I think it's missing some portion. It has an older style of fold-under C clasp which doesn't have a locking mechanism, so the long pin on the back doesn't securely lock in. Measures 2" across. A very nice addition to your PKT or vintage fraternity / sorority collection! Please email with any questions and thanks for looking!!!
