This WWII Silver Eagle is the first of its kind because of this privy mark, and it has a limited mintage of 75,000. For the first time ever, the Gold and Silver American Eagle coins get a new addition: the V75 privy mark! The special shape that borders the WWII Silver Eagle’s V75 privy mark is inspired by the Rainbow Pool in Washington, DC. This pool was dedicated to the World War II Memorial after the new memorial was established in 2004. V75 stands as an abbreviation that means “Victory” and the anniversary year. Actually, the V75 privy mark also appears on the US Mint ’s circulating America the Beautiful quarters! This lovely privy mark is an incredible way that the US Mint places history into the hands of its citizens. The obverse of the WWII Silver Eagle coin displays the prominent Walking Liberty design as created by Adolph A Weinman. Lady Liberty walks toward the sunrise and reaches her arm towards it, as though to welcome it. Her other arm cradles olive and oak branches as the American flag around her shoulders gently waves in the wind. “LIBERTY” is inscribed along the rim of the coin, along with the year of issue, West Point mintmark, the phrase “IN GOD WE TRUST”, and the special V75 privy mark. The reverse contains John Mercanti’s rendition of the US National Coat of Arms. Here, a bald eagle spreads its wings apart while clutching a bundle of arrows in one talon, an olive branch in the other, and a banner in its beak. This banner reads “E PLURIBUS UNUM”, and it falls slightly over the US flag shield on its chest. Thirteen stars decorate above the eagle’s head to symbolize the original thirteen colonies. Please avoid placing bids unless you are confident in your willingness to pay. Although cancellations can be handled with relative ease, they can adversely affect sellers. I keep track of bid retractions (ebay sends me a notice). If I observe the same user canceling multiple bids, or someone who cancels on Sunday evenings just trying to see where the bids are, it will lead to their inclusion on my bidder block list. It's not fair to my serious customers. Be sure to familiarize yourself with the tax laws in your state, as eBay, not the seller, is responsible for collecting applicable taxes. Shipping FREE shipping is available within the USA. I use USPS for shipping and ship packages within 24 hours of receiving payment. Please understand that according to eBay's policy, once the tracking status indicates "Delivered," eBay considers the item as delivered. If your item is high value, I will place an Apple Air Tag in your package, in a prepaid mailer to make it very easy. All you need to do is drop it right back in the mail. If you need any shipping upgrades, such as signature confirmation, please let me know before you complete your payment. Generally, shipping is swift, although there may be delays during the busy Christmas season. For shipments to Canada, I try to only use USPS (UPS seems to have high import fees and leaves packages on doorsteps). The shipping cost is $17.95 unless the item is over $750. Then it goes USPS Priority for $41.95. I do not profit on shipping fees. If you are buying multiple items, please wait until the end of the day to make a single payment for all your auctions. This allows you to take advantage of a reduced combined shipping rate. Regarding returns, the shipping cost will be the responsibility of the buyer. Terms of Sale To minimize returns, I provide detailed item descriptions, but I still need customers to clearly state the reason for any return. Contact Us If there is a discrepancy, I kindly ask that you contact me first before involving the resolution center. I will be more than happy to resolve any issues you may have to your full satisfaction. With 100% positive feedback, my goal is to ensure 100% customer satisfaction. I describe items as precisely as possible and provide multiple angles for viewing. Please feel free to ask any questions. Returns will only be accepted if the item was damaged or not as described; in such cases, the buyer will be responsible for return shipping, and the initial shipping charges will not be refunded. Payment is expected within three days of winning or committing to purchase an item. If there is a delay in payment, please let me know, and I will be happy to work with you. Otherwise, an unpaid item case will be opened, and the item will be relisted if unpaid by the end of the specified time frame. Thank you for your interest. Pictures sell!
