This textile is French and dates from around the 1930-1950's ~ red and white toile with lovely banding down the middle! It was meant to fit over the mattress in a decorative way ~ the daybed it's designed for is 36 inches wide by about 84 inches long ~ it's about 12 inches deep so the sides would cover the mattress sides ~ it would also be great for deconstruction and being used for upholstery, lampshades, pillows and many many other projects! ~*~ MEASUREMENTS : This lovely panel measures about 86 inches long by 56 inches wide.( the edges are rounded ~*~ CONDITION : This lovely panel is in as found, not freshly laundered condition with a few small marks ~ there is some color running on the front and back from the cording and ribbon, SO i recommend dry clean only as I think it may bleed into the white ground if not! ~Or, if you were going to deconstruct, do so first and wash the ribbon or cording separately~ The backing has color run also ! Signs of time and use often inherent in these wonderful textiles! Inventory : toile 26172 .
