Alienware M14x r1 512 GB SSD Win 10. I bought this laptop about a year ago with a broken hinge and missing battery. I replaced the screen bezel and both hinges, installed a 512 GB SSD, and installed windows 10 as well as a new battery. I bought this laptop about a year ago with a broken hinge and missing battery. I replaced the screen bezel and both hinges, installed a 512 GB SSD, and installed windows 10 as well as a new battery. It runs perfectly fine off of the charger, but unfortunately it won't charge the battery since it doesn't recognize it as a genuine dell battery. It will ship with the correct 150w dell charger, so basically it's a small desktop because you can't move it around much unless you can figure out how to get it to charge. Also missing a small trim piece that goes beneath the screen between the two hinges, so the screen wires are visible. This particular part has been very hard to find. Specs: CPU: Intel I7-2630QM (4 cores) 2.0 GHZ (2.9 GHZ turbo) Ram: 6GB SSD: 512 GB Operating system: Windows 10 Home (Activated) Would honestly make a decent home workstation, or even a good retro gaming rig if you like games from 2006-2013 or so.
