Rare Seriagraph "Sego Lilies in the Mountains” by Olive Fell (1896-1980). This seriagraph is in near perfect condition considering it was printed by her hand and dating back to the mid-century. The signature is hers but printed as part of the technique. Olive Fell, born in 1896 near Big Timber, Montana, was a well-known etcher, printing in her home studio in Wapiti, Wyoming. She became popular for her hand printed “Little Cub Bear” cards depicting travel through Yellowstone National Park during the 1930s and 1950s. Although Fell’s serious works were acclaimed by both the Society of American Etchers and the Northwest Printmakers, it was her whimsical cards & prints depicting nature and animals that she is most remembered. This seriagraph is in near perfect condition considering it was printed by her hand and dating back to the mid-century. I’m happy to offer this last “Sego Lilies in the Mountains” available to me. The signature is hers but printed as part of the technique. The printed area is 10 1/2 by 8 inches. Shipping typically varies from $12 - $20.
