Vintage 1950s Rose-pink Ballgown 6 -foot Diameter Skirt Size 6ish. The beauty of this dress is in its simplicity: A simple band finishes the scoop neckline and two sweet little bows top the back zipper closing. This a rose-colored fabric which is showing a bit more coral than rose in the pictures. Vintage 1950s Rose-pink Ballgown 6 -foot Diameter Skirt Size 6ish This was really a lovely party gown of its day. Sadly, that day is past, and this pretty belle is ready for a new life. A generous bodice tops a bias-cut 4-gore circle skirt six-feet (6') in diameter). The bodice waistline is lined, and the upper skirt features a diamond pattern that flatters the hips while the huge skirt provides a lot of swing. This a rose-colored fabric which is showing a bit more coral than rose in the pictures. It was a size 13 in its day, but closer to a 6 in contemporary sizing. MEASUREMENTS (laid flat): Bust 36 Waist 27 Hip Free Shoulder to hem 44.5 This garment is overstock from the wardrobe collection of Boise Little Theater, the oldest continuously running community theater in Idaho. As part of our stock, it was pre-owned by a patron of the theater, prior to its addition to our wardrobe. It may (or may not) have appeared on stage, and as such, may show wear consistent with its prior life. We have attempted to describe or show any visible flaws.
