Black and red fold-out map of Middle Earth tipped to rear endpaper. Jacket is also Thirteenth Impression, matching the book. Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Slight gutter cracking, more notable to rear hinge. Binding is firm. Text block edges have mild droplet marks. Slight extra creases to map. Boards have some moderate edge wear, with slight bumping to corners and minor bumping to spine ends. Boards a little rubbed and marked overall. Some dark staining to the recesses of the joints. Gilt is slightly rubbed. Much like the trilogy, the dust jacket is in three parts. Otherwise, light edgewear with small tears, chips, and creasing. A few liquid droplet marks. Slight tape marks, especially to underside.
