Lot of 3 Vtg Federal Glass Small Bowls Milk Glass Red Gingham 2” Tall 5” Dia.. The Small Bowls appear to be made of a glass material that was commonly referred to as “Milk Glass” [ I would describe the “Milk glass” as a white glossy color]. The bowls feature a Red Gingham style pattern design [the design pattern is featured only on a small portion of the bowls; see photos]. Purchased new in the 1960s; never used; gently stored. One owner; recently recovered from my parental home. Perhaps these small bowls would be referred to as “Cereal Bowls” or “Berry / Dessert Bowls”; I don’t know. Each Bowl is the same size and features the same design pattern. The Small Bowls appear to be made of a glass material that was commonly referred to as “Milk Glass” [ I would describe the “Milk glass” as a white glossy color]. The bowls feature a Red Gingham style pattern design [the design pattern is featured only on a small portion of the bowls; see photos]. The Federal Glass Logo, “Heat Proof”, “U.S.A” is stamped on the bottom of the bowls; see photos. There are no obvious chips or cracks; there are manufacturer’s imperfections, blemishes, discoloration; see photos. These Bowls appear to be “stackable”. Approximate Measurements: Top Diameter = 5”; Height = 2”; Volume Capacity = 8 oz. This is a vintage item that shows evidence of age, and storage; surface / edge wear, imperfections / flaws, blemishes, discoloration.
