WW2 Letter Japanese-American Soldier Re-Union Savage Group Plane C-47 War WWII. It is dated 1946. Hamsho didn't seem to have changed but how Benny had grown! He knew he was seeing daddy but still shy about it.Most of the original Savage group is back and we had a grand reunion, once in Hilo and once in honsha where Kotake.and lary lives. An original World War Two related letter written by a Japanese-American Soldier named Charles Okiyama. It is dated 1946. In one area he says,...................as I felt the same way. As Kotake and I with five other winged ever from Oahu to Hawaii in a C-47 we became exceted like kids on Xmas morning as our fammileai Mama Kea......came into sight. The plane passed over Kotake's home town and he was pointing out his store to me...............When we reached the U.S.O. where everyone was waiting for us it was an exciting moment............Hamsho didn't seem to have changed but how Benny had grown! He knew he was seeing daddy but still shy about it..................Most of the original Savage group is back and we had a grand reunion, once in Hilo and once in honsha where Kotake....and lary lives. Koga, Angel, Toma and many others were there................................ The cover has the send to address of St. Paul Minnesota. The letter has some wear in areas.
