Description
Vintage Calvin Klein khakis pants Womens 6 made in USA Straight & Wide Leg. I'm a size 6 and they are a little snug around the pleats so I'd say they are closer to a size 5. I was able to get them buttoned. The pics do not do these pants justice. They are stunning with a longer inseam. Got these gorgeous vintage trousers at an estate sale hoping they would fit me. I'm a size 6 and they are a little snug around the pleats so I'd say they are closer to a size 5. I was able to get them buttoned. I believe the '14' in the label refers more to the waist measurement as seen in the pics so doubled would be around a 28 inch waist although they are fitted so could work for a 27 inch waist as well. The pics do not do these pants justice. They are stunning with a longer inseam. I did remove the altered hem at the bottom so there is a crease that is not very noticeable when wearing and could come out with dry cleaning. There is no label for the material so I couldn't say for sure but they feel like a cotton silk blend. They are very lightweight and could be worn all season except winter. During research, I could not find another exact pair so I couldn't tell you the exact year but they do have a cut, faded union made in the USA label. The union tag was typically found on the side seam, often near the size or care label, to indicate the garment was produced in a unionized factory. Peak Era (1970s–1980s): Union tags, particularly the ILGWU label, were standard on American-made clothing during this period. They have detailed pleats and 2 deep side pockets.
