This collection includes several international sport and Olympic-related publications with striking period graphics and historical content. Up for your consideration is a vintage Olympic and historical ephemera lot featuring 1930s Berlin Olympics publications, a newspaper, and an original black and white photograph. This collection includes several international sport and Olympic-related publications with striking period graphics and historical content. Details: Included in this lot are a 1936 Berliner Illustrierte Zeitung Olympic issue featuring Adolf Hitler on the cover, a “Sportmedizin und Olympische Spiele 1936” publication, a Dutch “Sport in Beeld” Olympic issue dated August 3, 1928, a vintage black and white marathon/street race photograph, and a July 22, 1968 Winnipeg Tribune newspaper covering the St. Boniface Cathedral fire. Items show age-related wear including tears, creases, edge wear, discoloration, folds, and handling marks consistent with vintage paper ephemera.
