Offered here is a vintage children's book:The Songs We Sing , by Hendrik Willem Van Loon, published by Simon and Schuster, New York, 1936; brightly illustrated paper over board, hardbound; minor bumps at the extremities; closed tear at the top front gutter, 10" x 6 1/2" book is slightly arched, inside is unmarked and bright, except for a name written in pencil on the book plate provided at the inside of the front cover; front and rear end papers repeat the same illustration - the back also has the book plate [unsigned]. Dust Jacket repeats the illustration on the cover, has small chips and tear at the spine hinge area with minor paper loss, back section of jacket repeats the front illustration - has a small tear at the top center edge.
