Production Details & Markers The Era: Robert Haley produced this distinctive stamped silver design with a natural turquoise setting primarily throughout the 1970s. This era marked a major boom in Southwestern Native American jewelry design and Western fashion. The Hallmark: Authentic pieces from this specific run feature an "R.H." hallmark stamped on the back of the slide, identifying Robert Haley as the silversmith. Trading Post History: Many examples from this design collection also include an "AT" stamp on the back for Atkinson Trading . Atkinson was a prominent family trading business that operated shops throughout the American Southwest and contracted talented local silversmiths like Haley to craft jewelry under their label. This particular retail partnership dissolved when the Atkinson store utilizing that specific mark closed down in the early 1990s. Be aware: The silver is in need of polish and cleaning as it is tarnished, and the leather cord is worn and could use some oil. I have lowered the price to reflect the wear of this item.
