Kitagawa Utamaro National Museum Diptych Japanese Woodblock Women In The Kitchen. These appear to be on handmade paper but we don't know what year these were published. You may enjoy viewing more of his Japanese collection as I get them listed. On auction, we have a diptych by Ukiyo-e artist Kitagawa Utamaro (1753-1806). "Women In The Kitchen" has labels on the back "Published By National Museum" with stamps. These appear to be on handmade paper but we don't know what year these were published. They each measure 15 1/4" X 10 1/4". I believe these are in excellent condition. The prints are bright, bold, clean and clear. As I am not an expert on Asian art, please see my photographs for more description. These are from my friend who is moving to a much smaller home and parting with many of his treasures.
