Frank Baum (True 1917 First Edition / Printing) Condition: Poor to Fair / Reading or Restoration Copy Details: Confirmed true first-year printing featuring a wonderful, authentic period pencil inscription on the ownership page dated September 7th, 1917 Defects: This copy is currently missing its original color plates (likely cleanly removed over the years). The cover shows heavy staining, corner rounding, spine damage, and old child's markings on the front graphic and more.(see pictures)The textblock has some age stains and a few loose pages, but the text and dozens of classic black-and-white illustrations by John R.
