VINTAGE pair of high school collegiate chenille letterman patches, one from 1957. There is an "M" that is dark purple with yellow trim, and a smaller "3" that is more dark blue with yellow trim. The "M" one has a lot of writing on the back side, which includes the year1957. They've been in a box since roughly then, so we're giving up that fantasy and moving on. So my wife and I, back in the late 1990's, bought up tons of these patches thinking we'd ultimately upholster a chair for our gameroom and cover it in them. They've been in a box since roughly then, so we're giving up that fantasy and moving on. Many more will be coming. Larger one measures 4 3/4" tall and the smaller is 3 3/8". Great shape overall, no major damage, but I do see some loose strings here and there. A very nice addition to your vintage collegiate collection!
