Original handwritten warranty deed executed May 1, 1883, on a printed deed form (Avery Herrick, Publisher and Printer, Albany, New York). The property is described as a tract in the town of Hartwick, bounded on the north by lands of Wheeler Murdock, on the east by lands of the grantors, on the south by lands of Reuben Hubbard and Martin Van Buren, and on the west by lands of Reuben Hubbard, Sally Alger, and Wheeler Murdock — part of what was known as the old Adams farm, containing ninety acres more or less. Original handwritten warranty deed executed May 1, 1883, on a printed deed form (Avery Herrick, Publisher and Printer, Albany, New York). The grantors are Henry Adams and Chester Adams of the town of Hartwick, county of Otsego, State of New York, conveying to Morell See of the same place, for the sum of $2,950 (Twenty-nine Hundred and Fifty Dollars). The property is described as a tract in the town of Hartwick, bounded on the north by lands of Wheeler Murdock, on the east by lands of the grantors, on the south by lands of Reuben Hubbard and Martin Van Buren, and on the west by lands of Reuben Hubbard, Sally Alger, and Wheeler Murdock — part of what was known as the old Adams farm, containing ninety acres more or less. A second parcel, part of a wood lot, is bounded on the north by lands of Morris Perry, east by the grantors, south and west by lands of Andrew Salisbury, containing thirteen and one-third acres. The deed bears the signatures of Henry Adams and Chester Adams with two blue paper wafer seals, was acknowledged the same day before notary W. J. Kellogg, and was recorded May 1, 1883 at 11:45 A.M. in Liber 195 of Deeds, page 275, by Otsego County Clerk George Van Horn.
