This is a John Bednarz Red and White hand carved wooden spearing decoy in great shape. . John Bednarz is a noted artist and carver and you can find his name in your spearing decoy collectors book. He made these years ago at the Browerville Bait and Tackle shop in Browerville Minnesota. He is in his 80's and not sure if he does anymore carving. It just so happens that I am sitting here in what used to be the Browerville Bait and Tackle Shop which is now Pauls Pawn and Bargains. Bought this place many years ago from John Bednarz as a Bait shop and I have expanded it into a new and used store. Check me out at Pickleboy.com.
