VTG Schiaparelli 4 Strand Faux Pearl Necklace Iridescent Shell Clasp Rhinestone . This specific design is a "fantasy" creation from the second half of the 1950s. This is a vintage Elsa Schiaparelli four-strand faux pearl necklace featuring a distinctive shell and crystal clasp. The strikingly unique clasp centerpiece is composed of two molded glass clam shells positioned in opposite directions accented with blue and white navette and round aurora borealis rhinestones set in an antiqued silver-tone metal. This specific design is a "fantasy" creation from the second half of the 1950s. The necklace is about 8 inches long and is 5 inches across the widest portion. The necklace has two logos, within oval cartouches, at the back of each clasp. There is some metal loss on the clasp where the signature is. There are some light scuffs on one of the clamshells. I have not attempted to clean this piece.
