This is a first paperback edition of Sight of Proteus by Charles Sheffield Published by Ace Books in September, 1978 Overall I’d say this copy is in good shape. The most notable blemish would be the scuffing/blemishes to the page edges. Theres some minor creasing to the spine as well. The page edges themselves are honestly pretty crisp - minimal wear there. No major blemishes on the front cover and much of the same can be said about the back cover - no major blemishes I can see except a small chip on the bottom left edge and some tanning to the white. The faces of both are super clean. The spine is has a reading crease down the middle, but the pages are in great shape. No visible stains/rips/tears within. The spine is sturdy, the pages are clean and everything is holding together strong. Overall, I’d say decent condition on this paperback. I’ve done my best to include this all in the photos, but if there’s anything else you’d like to see - or you have any questions at all - please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m happy to help. Thanks for looking!
