This was the first statewide listing of cemeteries. When the ODOT map department decided not to publish a second edition of the OCS, others stepped in. It was clear that an update was needed and so this project was born. Continued field trips eventually resulted in personal visits to 437 cemeteries and burial sites in Oregon.
