The Big Sleep by Raymond Chandler 1946 World, 1st printing Very Good+/Very Good+. VG+ / VG+. 1946 World Publishing, first printing. Hardcover with dust jacket. Given a first edition of this title will likely cost you $4,000 - $10,000, I think this film tie-in issue is a steal in the $75 - $150 price range. It was published seven years after the first, but you get awesome stills from the film (young sultry Lauren Bacall…c’mon!). VG+ / VG+. 1946 World Publishing, first printing.
