This is a first edition / 3RD PRINTING paperback edition of The Female Man by Joanna Russ A Bantam Book published in 1978 Overall I’d say this copy is in real good shape. Most notably, the tanning/discoloration to the spine and back cover especially. You’ll see some yellowing inside the front and back cover as well. There is a minor wear along the edges and minor chipping on the corner edges (bottom right) of the front cover. No major blemishes on the front cover except for a solid crease that runs adjacent to the spine and some tiny spider web creasing near the top left corner. The spine is uncreased and super clean - besides the tan, of course. Much of the same can be said about the back cover - no real blemishes I can see, but minor wear toward the edges and again, a major tan. The pages are super clean. No visible stains/rips/tears within. The spine is sturdy, the pages are the clean and everything is holding together strong. Overall, pretty good condition on this paperback. I’ve done my best to include this all in the photos, but if there’s anything else you’d like to see - or you have any questions at all - please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m happy to help. Thanks for looking!
